Our Experience at Montecasino Bird Gardens

We visited Montecasino Bird Gardens in 2023 and had an absolutely amazing time. We started the day with a slush puppie from the Flamingo café shop, and the staff were very friendly and willing to help. The walk-through aviary was our favourite, allowing us to spend time surrounded by lovely birds flying overhead.

It is a perfect way to spend time outdoors in Johannesburg and the kids will definitely love it! They offer significant discounts when you use a loyalty card. Using our loyalty card, we paid R70 per person (compared to the normal rate of R105 per person) and had no difficulties during the payment process; they simply swiped the card!
